Proceedings of the international colloquium July 2000
In 2000, the Museum of Corsica organized a colloquium on industrial knowledge and know-how in the Western Mediterranean from the 16th to the 20th century.
It was an exceptional opportunity for the participants to meet the actors of a complex Mediterranean industrial world, to share and confront experiences, to question the current state of knowledge concerning mining geology, economic and social history, heritage, museology or even the museography of the industrial object.
