In a career spanning more than 50 years and a good thirty albums, Antoine Ciosi has left his mark on Corsican song.

He sang it in all tones, from the slightly outdated melodies of Dominique Marfisi (for Barclay) in the 60s, to the texts of the great authors of Riacquistu, through the “Songs of Freedom”.He lent his voice to the Vincenti brothers, who offered him their greatest songs.

At the time of Riacquistu, he created at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris “Sounds and Lights of Corsica”, the first audiovisual show dedicated to Corsican culture. Show which will be played in 1973 in Corti, at the foot of the Citadel, in front of more than 1000 people and of which Antoine Ciosi keeps an imperishable memory.

For this last tour, this “Ultimu Giru”, Antoine Ciosi made it his duty to “pass the torch” to the new generation. He surrounded himself for this with these young talents who will make the Corsican song of tomorrow (Diana Saliceti, Léa Antona and Jean-Vincent Servetto, among others…).

After the great success of the concerts in Aiacciu and Bastia, Folies Bergère in Paris, Antoine Ciosi will retrace in songs his long career, during an exceptional evening on the square of the museum of Corsica in Corti.
